Fennville Khnemu Studio Presents Hands-On Pit & Smoke Firing Workshop

Experience hands-on the primitive firing techniques
of pit and smoke firing. Learn which clays work best
and how to prepare them to receive the best color.
Learn tips on how to avoid disaster. Participants
are allowed to bring up to 10 bisque fired pots to
fire during the workshop.
Space is limited, reservations required. $100 per person.
$30 non-refundable registration fee and remainder
due 30 days prior to event. Contact studio for reservations.

Growing up on a horse farm Sue always enjoyed the whimsical characteristics of the animals which surrounded her. Her love of animals led her to become a biology professor, and during college she discovered clay. Her clay addiction has given her the opportunity to express the whimsical attitudes and movements she enjoys about animals. You will delight in the story their expressions tell.
