This hilarious farce has Bridget staying with her Grandmother for the summer and soon discovering that her sweet Nana has been running a lingerie boutique out of her rent-controlled apartment for years - illegally! The soon-to-be-law-student Bridget is beside herself, but her grandmother's long-time friend, Vera, seems to find it all very funny. The problems really start when the nosey landlord starts poking around for a way to evict Bridget's Nana and get a tenant who will pay full=rent in there. Add into the mix a sweet police officer who's rather smitten with Bridget, and lingerie that won't stay hidden, and you've got a rolliking good time.
