The talented Red Barn Players will present The Amber Beads written by award-winning Glenn playwright, Pearl Kastran Ahnen. Alternately humorous and touching - real life with an ethnic Greek twist - The Amber Beads portrays a grieving mother and her journey to forgive her son for having died before he could fulfill his promise to her. Show times are 7 pm Friday, and 2 pm matinees on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, students, Lakeshore Arts Alliance Members and groups of 5 or more. Also view the Saugatuck-Douglas Art Club’s Exhibit display through September 12. The Red Barn is located a quarter mile east of Exit 41 on I-196/US31 at 3657 63rd St at Blue Star Highway.
