Whether you call Saugatuck-Douglas home (or “second home”), run a business, or are a visitor, you have something you consider special about the community. This exhibition, through collective self-portraiture and self-description, will demonstrate and celebrate the unique character of the Saugatuck-Douglas area. It will explore and invite interpretation of the community’s social, cultural, and economic make-up.
The artwork in this exhibition will be created by YOU! And your friends, neighbors, and other Saugatuck-Douglas residents you haven't yet met! You are invited to submit a photograph of yourself, either alone or with others, in a special setting in the Saugatuck-Douglas area. This photograph can be taken for this exhibit or already existing, but all submitted photographs must be of a digital format. Included with the photograph should be a description of where the location is and why this location is important or special to you.
To submit your photo for the exhibition, click on the link below, download the form & fill it out, then fax or email it - along with your image - to Exhibition Coordinator Hattie Hettinger at hattie@sc4a.org or 269-857-4819.
Images and release forms must be received by Friday, July 15.
