Friday, February 10th

2pm - 10pm Professional Ice Carving - Watch Professional ice sculptors turn blocks of ice into beautiful creations along State St. Scavenger of logo sculptures - check in at the Welcome Center.

5pm - 10pm Schu's Festival Tent - great food & warm spirits at the corner of Pleasant and Lake Blvd. Music by DJ "An Absolute Blast" 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Call 983-7248 for more info.

7:30 p.m. Fire & Ice Opening Ceremony presented by Holiday Inn Express - St. Joseph - Pleasant St and Lake Blvd. across from Schu's. Look for the Schu's Festival Tent on Pleasant St. The Fire & Ice tower will be located near the tent in the vacant Lake Park Place lot - 30 blocks of ice encasing a roaring bonfire.

6 - 10 p.m. Ice Skating - Bring your sweetie to the John and Dede Howard Ice Arena for outdoor skating and indoor amenities. Fee: $5 per person and $3 skate rental.

Sunday, February 12th- FOR KID'S!

Best of the Fest -The Coastline Children's Film Festival features a dynamic collection of the ten best short films from the Chicago International Children's Film Festival, Facets Multi-Media. This unique collection of recent, culturally diverse, and non-violent films are fun to watch and will inspire lively discussions, especially with children ages 5 to 9 (K-3). Sponsored by Festival Film Shorts, in partnership with Brookview School, suggested $1 donation per person. Showing at the Krasl Art Center at 11:00am and the St. Joseph Public Library at 1:00pm.

10 - 11:30 a.m. Krasl Art Center Magic Show - Magician John Dudley will begin at 10:00 a.m. sharp...cocoa and cookies available. 10:30am Coastline Children's Film Festival showing 30 minutes of film shorts, see above for details.

11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Maud Preston Palenske Library Magic & Stories - Magician John Dudley will perform at 11:30 a.m. for thirty minutes only. Box lunches available for purchase. 1:00pm Coastline Children's Film Festival showing 30 minutes of film shorts, see above for details

2:30 - 4 p.m. Curious Kids' Museum & Discovery Zone Crafts & Magic - Magician John Dudley at 2:30 p.m. More snowmen crafts at the new Discovery Zone at Silver Beach below the bluff.
